I DID MY BEST. I also assumed that these crushes weren’t that “early” but they all come from the early 90’s when I was just a wee one. I only just realized that or else I would’ve used my edit buttons. OH WELL.
The story about my mother and 90210 posters turned into a rambling mess as I tried to use it to illustrate how my upbringing shaped my relationship with pop-culture. That’s probably a whole ‘nother topic for another day, meaning it was kind of an incomplete thought in the video. The point is that my exposure to fads and trends was limited and also I thought I was too cool for them anyway.
