Segue Magic: Childhood Computer Games

Marines: I’m so sorry I’ve been slacking on not only filming my own responses to Segue Magic, but putting together these wrap-up posts. My travel schedule these past two months has been a wee bit crazy. It is my intention to catch up and somehow share the the topics I missed, but you know. I always have all of the intentions.

Anyway, last week on Segue Magic, we were talking about the computer and video games we played as children. Check it out!

There are a couple of ages represented here, so the span of games was really interesting. The only game that was repeated was Oregon Trail:

I loved seeing how happy people got remembering those games they played, even when they just had vague impressions of what the game actually consisted of.

Thanks as always to our wonderful contributors:

This week we’ll be building our dream apocalypse team! If you post a video or blog, please be sure to share the link with us on Twitter or Tumblr with the hashtag #SegueMagic. Check out the Goodreads group to get all the topics of the month.

As an additional aside, three of us Snark Ladies are also doing VEDA this year so be sure to stop by our channels to get our faces, every damn day in August: Marines, Nicole, Kirsti.

See you guys real soon!

I'm a 30-something south Floridan who loves the beach but cannot swim. Such is my life, full of small contradictions and little trivialities. My main life goals are never to take life too seriously, but to do everything I attempt seriously well. After that, my life goals devolve into things like not wearing pants and eating all of the Zebra Cakes in the world. THE WORLD.
