Snark Squad uses personal data provided by you through our mailing list form to identify you and communicate with you. We also use data collected by Google Analystics, our podcast feed, Patreon, MailChimp, and other services to better understand how our content is being consumed and how it can be improved.

We share your personal data as necessary to operate our organization. We do not sell your information to others or share it except as described below.
- Protection of Snark Squad and others: Snark Squad shares personal data when required by law or to respond to legal process.
- Discord website users: Any information that you post on our Snark Squad Discord channel is voluntarily provided and will be visible to other Discord channel members.
- With your consent: Except as described above, we will provide you with notice when your personal data will be shared with third parties, and you can choose not to share that information.
How long we retain personal data
Snark Squad will retain personal data while we have a justifiable business need to do so, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, legal, accounting or other purposes). You can request deletion of your personal data at any time after the service it was provided for has been delivered and we will consider your request in accordance with applicable laws.
