Snark Squad Pod #032 – Gravity Falls

Previously: We had many feelings about siblings existing in fictional media.

Marines: Animated TV is really not Nicole’s thing, but after our success with Avatar: The Last Airbender, I added this title to our media list and hoped for the best. I watched this show sometime after the first season wrapped-up and absolutely loved it. On the heels of last week’s sibling-related episode, we take on this Disney XD show that follows Dipper and Mabel Pines during their summer vacation in the weird little town of Gravity Falls.

We invited pod regular Ceri Riley to join us, as it was Ceri who originally mentioned Gravity Falls on the podcast.  Ceri is a writer and editor for SciShow and Crash Course Film and an editorial assistant for Monstress. She’s always a delight to have on the show and brings a ton of knowledge and feelings to today’s episode.

I'm a 30-something south Floridan who loves the beach but cannot swim. Such is my life, full of small contradictions and little trivialities. My main life goals are never to take life too seriously, but to do everything I attempt seriously well. After that, my life goals devolve into things like not wearing pants and eating all of the Zebra Cakes in the world. THE WORLD.
