Snark Squad Pod #042 – Buffy Halloween Episodes

Previously: We read My Brilliant Friend with mixed reactions, but great anticipation for the series.

Marines: Happy Halloween! Nicole and I have the one picture from the one Halloween we spent together in New York so, uh, here it is again!

I’m totally wearing a costume, by the way. (Kind of.)

In the spirit of the season, we’ve got a special Halloween-themed episode for you all today. We sat down with friends to talk about all of the Halloween episodes of Buffy– that’s season 2’s Halloween, season 4’s Fear Itself and season 6’s All The Way. We also mention the Angel episode– season 5’s Life of the Party. It’s the first time we’ve revisited the series in any capacity, besides a random time we decided to tweet about Fear Itself.

Joining us this episode are two big-time Buffy fans. Jenny Trout is an author in the middle of her own long-running Buffy project. Samantha Lane runs the channel Thoughts on Tomes and is the co-creator of BookNet Fest. We balanced out the opinions as best we could with one very pro-Spike guest…

Revisit these episodes and some larger Buffy feelings with us!

I'm a 30-something south Floridan who loves the beach but cannot swim. Such is my life, full of small contradictions and little trivialities. My main life goals are never to take life too seriously, but to do everything I attempt seriously well. After that, my life goals devolve into things like not wearing pants and eating all of the Zebra Cakes in the world. THE WORLD.
