Sweeney: Our journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues! This time we are making our way through Phase 2, which means: Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Ant-Man.
A few quick notes on this episode:
First, we recorded this a couple weeks ago, prior to Stan Lee’s passing, which is why we did not mention him. As we make our way through these movies, though, we are obviously making our way through his legacy, and a truly remarkable legacy it is. Smarter people have said better words about his passing, and I have nothing to add except that we wish his family the best.

Third, we are breaking phase 3 up into 3 parts. We want to finish with a bang, so Avengers 4 will get its own stand alone episode, and the other 9 films are being spread across two episodes. Our next MCU episode will go through Thor: Ragnarok.
