Cooler Than Homework #016 – Rip Girls & Family Histories

Previously: We watched a bowling movie & reminisced about some of our weird childhood hobbies.

Sweeney: Hello again, friends! We’ve missed you! I’m not going to dwell on the current state of the world because we are all well aware, but I will note that this episode was recorded about a month ago and we have big Sweet Summer Children energy in it. I don’t think we said anything particularly regrettable, in light of the changed world we now live in, but, you know, just in case.

Instead of thinking about the state of the world, please enjoy this fun conversation with friends in which we talk about this surfing movie, how we know who Camilla Belle is, Team Haunt Earth’s undying pettiness, and share some stories about our parents and grandparents.

As promised, here is (1) photo of my grandma being cute & (1) song Matt wrote about his wild family story:

Nicole is the co-captain of Snark Squad and these days she spends most of her time editing podcasts. She spends too much time on Twitter and very occasionally vlogs and blogs. In her day job she's a producer, editor, director, and sometimes host of educational YouTube channels. She loves travel, maps, panda gifs, and semicolons. Writing biographies stresses her out; she crowd sourced this one years ago and has been using a version of it ever since. She would like to thank Twitter for their help.
